About Us

Growing up in Ottawa, Canada, I was your typical Canadian kid that rushed home from school to play road hockey with the neighbourhood kids. The love and passion for Canada’s game started me on my way to where I am now!

My passion and dedication for hockey lead me to Elmira College in Upstate New Year where I received a scholarship and played four years of NCAA ice hockey and NCAA golf. During my four years at Elmira College, I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Management. I was named to the ECAC West Women’s All-Academic Team during 2007-2008, 2008-2009 seasons. During my time at Elmira I learned a lot about marketing principle and consumer behaviour, but little did I know that after graduating in 2009, marketing was about to change completely. In 2009, Facebook and Twitter didn’t have business options and Instagram didn’t exist. My next 10 years consisted of staying up to date on new marketing trends, and it has been a blast!

I bring that same passion and dedication for hockey and golf to my Barketing Solutions clients. Helping you grow your pet business and hit goals is as rewarding as scoring that game winning goal!

In 2014, I co-founded ProPet Software. Partnering with a kennel owner in Ottawa, we quickly noticed a gap in the industry and designed and built a software to help kennel owners move from paper to digital management. This has been an amazing journey. ProPet is now one of the most popular kennel software programs around the world. 

While working with kennel owner’s who are transitioning from paper to software, that is when the lightbulb went off! The majority of our clients haven’t updates their website in years. I know pet business owners have no time to keep their website current, or it is on their never ending to-do-list. It was bugging me because I know how important a modern and secure website is. Doing some research I found this to be true.
